Clinic Details Jeff Shirk, Head Lacrosse Coach at the Virginia Military Institute (VMI), will hold two positional lacrosse clinics on Sunday, January 20, 2008 at VMI. One clinic will focus on the Attack and Defense positions and the other will focus on the Middie and Goalie positions. The clinics will be held at VMI's Cormack Field House; an indoor facility. The clinics are open to beginner and advanced players from 7 to 18 years old.
The clinic will cover the following topics:
- Skill Development
- Positional Development
- Shooting
- Footwork
- Drills to do at Home
During the clinics, there will be a few short breaks and water will be provided. Participants can bring snacks if they wish. Parents and coaches are welcome to stay and observe.

| On January 21 and January 28, 2007, Jeff Shirk held instructional positional clinics for local lacrosse players to help teach, spread, and develop the game of lacrosse in the community.
