Camp Details
The Southern States Top Junior Camp was a recruiting weekend. High School Sophomore and Junior players had the chance to showcase their skills for college coaches through a series of clinic stations (intense college drills) each day, followed by four games with sanctioned VA referees. This camp also included a college admissions information session, run by a Washington & Lee University Admissions Staff Member (see below for the PowerPoint presentation). The College Admissions Program covered topics such as what to expect when applying to colleges and how to prepare properly. Players also attended a strength and conditioning/weight lifting session.
High School coaches were asked to nominate players from their team. Players were placed on a team, which was coached by two college coaches.
